Getting Old

On Thursday, Sutton was 4 weeks old. There was no cake, no hats, no party. However, we did take pictures...(iphoto has a crummy "red-eye" reducer)

Sutton's First 1st Birthday Party!

Well, each day brings a new experience for baby Sutton. Saturday was his cousin Owen's 1st birthday party and it was a blast. Only a one-year old knows how to truly eat cake. Owen, you are the king....crown and all. Also, because it is called the Baby Saval Blog here are some gratuitous photos of our son.

Sutton had more guests this weekend. He met his uncle Eric and even got a kiss from his cousin Blake. Also, he has a new hobby...stretching.

We had our second check-up today and the little guy weighs 8 lb. 10 oz. and he has grown an inch to 20 1/2 inches. So, he is doing great. Jennifer is doing an amazing job and here are some photos to prove it...is that a smile?

5 Days Old!

So, we have survived 5 days. Sutton had his first doctor's appointment today and it went very well. He is already back to his birth weight thanks to his mother's magic milk. She is sacrificing her sleep to make it happen, but maintains that it is well worth it. Here are a few more pics for your viewing pleasure. The kid definitely knows how to relax.

We made it home!

We got home around 2:30 and we are settling. We already miss the nurses and the nursery.

I'm here! Ok. I am only one day old, but I have already met so many people. Look at all the pictures! "Where's Waldo?" better watch out...."Where's Sutton?" is more like it. Also, I already have a hobby, sleeping. It's great! I may even let my parents try out this hobby tonight. Naahh.
